0. General
All decisions will be made based on the rules explained below. We reserve the right to make final decisions without further explanation. We enforce fairness based on our own judgement. Situations not covered by the rules will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

When addressing GM’s/GMH’s and GEE Staff please note:
a) Please under no circumstance disrespect the GM’s/GMH’s and GEE Staff. We will NOT tolerate any abuse towards any members of the staff (doing so may result in a possible ban).

b)If you feel you have been mistreated by a staff member, do not insult or bitch at them. Contact one of the GM’s/GEE staff so we can resolve this in a civil manner.
c) If you choose to push an (closed) issue, insist on an explanation, demand a re-analysis of the situation, or tell us how to do our moderating job etc, you may expect a permanent ban.

1. Character Name Policy
Characters found with unacceptable names are to be renamed immediately. The GM will rename your character to a new name of your choice, only once. If you are caught a second or consequent time your character will be terminated without any notice.

In the following cases, a name change is acquired:
a) The name of the character contains sexual, abusive or racial language

b) The name of the character includes abuse of another character's name or group
c) The name of the character includes an association with a trade(mark), cash name or copyright
d) The name of the character includes advertisement or similar benefit
f) The name of the character is equal to or impersonating the name of a GM, GMH or anyone of the GEE Staff. Impersonating a GM, a GMH or any other staff involved with Martial Heroes of Games Entertainment Europe with clear conscience can lead to a temporary or permanent ban. This includes using a name of a GM or GMH without the GM(H)@ prefix.

2. Guild Name and Marks Policy
For the guild names apply the same set of rules as for the character names. As for the marks we have the following rules:
a) Guild marks can only be submitted on the forum
b) Logo can only be submitted or changed by the Guild Master or Sub Master
c) No symbol with racist or abusive meaning will be allowed
d) Size must be 23x23 pixels only
e) File type must be .jpg only

Failure to comply with ALL of these requirements means the logo will be rejected
Note: Guild marks are only available for Mun guilds

3. Player Conflict Policy
Usually the GM will take no action if a player conflict happens in the Game. However, in the below cases the GM will be entitled to take action:

a) Benefit is derived by false counsel.
b) A false report is given.
c) Item(s), account(s), and real cash are abusively requested.
d) Misuse with trading of account(s). See also the Account Management Policy.
e) Impersonation of GM's, GMH's or the Martial Heroes or Game Entertainment Europe staff
f) Sexual language/ extreme foul language and any other discrimination in respect of religion and nationality.
g) Hunting, getting items or using of a game bug for any other advantage.
h) Game hacking, bots/auto mouse (MACRO) or any other changed software. These illegal programs result in lack of balance in the Game, deletion of information and server-downs.
i) Abuse and insult or rude behavior.
j) Continuously stopping another player from playing/enjoying the game
k) A case of a player spamming continuously in the chat window or on the forum.
If you find a bug, suspect a bot or any other infringements of the rules please report it to a GM. Continuing of exploitation without reporting may lead to temporary or permanent ban.

4. System Abuse Policy
In the below cases, we will terminate an account without any notice.

a) Hunting, getting items or using of a bug for any other advantage.
b) Use of an illegal way to hunt a monster without damage (Bots/Auto-Mouse or Macro)
c) Use of illegal programs, changed software, tools and hacking. In case of a person changing our database, a game file, exe file, or anything other harmful, we shall claim damages.
d) Incite others to infringe rules or knowingly benefit from infringement of rules by others.
If you find a bug, suspect a bot or any other infringements of the rules please report it to a GM immediately. Continuing of exploitation without reporting may lead to temporary or permanent ban.

5. Account Management Policy
A player is responsible for his or her account, the sharing of an account, selling of an account, etc. If a player should lose his or her account due to carelessness, the player should not expect any support.

a) Shared Accounts: These are not supported by GEE. If there is a problem with a shared account, if items or the account are stolen GEE will not help or return the account or items. Think carefully before sharing your password and username. Using the excuse that it was your brother/cousin/next door neighbor’s dog or anyone other than you on the account at the time of the offence makes no difference. It is your account and you are responsible for seeing that no one that uses it breaks the rules.
b) Account trades: GEE has set up a free service (GEE Safe trade) for trading accounts for in game items, gold or other accounts and a service which covers only the administration charge for trades involving Euro’s. GEE safe trade is the only way to trade your account safely. Accounts traded/sold/bought without using GEE safe trade are illegal trades and will be supported by GEE if you have a problem.
Trades can only be done via email to the appropriate trade address with the official form. The form is not downloadable from anywhere, you will get the correct form after sending your request to the correct Safe trade  email address. Please read the forum post about safe trades for full details.
c)
Password Security: Players are responsible for the safety and security of their passwords. If someone asks for this information do not give it. If they claim to be a GEE employee then take a screenshot and report it to a GM. GM, GMH or GEE will never ask you for your password or discuss account problems in game. GEE might ask you through support though in some special cases; always check you’re mailing with the correct e-mail service to prevent scams.
Please note: A player with any of these problems will not be entitled to make any claim to Martial Heroes. In addition, if we discover such a case, we may block the account permanently without any notice. Making false reports about someone or falsely reporting a hacking may get you banned permanently.

6. Restoration Policy
General rules:
We don’t handle accounts on which the last login is older than 3 months. If you didn’t feel the need to let us know your account needed restoration within that time, then it wasn’t important enough. Any recovery will take at least 3 to 7 days. False reports will be punished.
Item Restoration:
a) Item(s) lost by server or system errors will be replaced after checking the player’s game log.
b) We will not restore it if a player drops his or her item(s) on the ground by mistake, or sells item(s) to a NPC.
Character Restoration:

If a character is deleted on a stolen account or by honest mistakes, we MAY recover it. The GM’s will evaluate every case on its own and have the right to not recover the character if they see fit.
a) We will restore a character in case of a stolen account.
b) We will not restore a deleted character under level 17.
c) We will not restore a character of any level in the case of a shared account or illegal trade.

In addition, we may restore the ‘carried items and money’, but will not restore ‘Cargo item(s)’ and ‘Inventory item(s)’. (A player should report the query first).

7.
Evidence Policy
When a player reports a case, the player must send a screen shot of it for evidence through mail/the support system.
Here are the evidence rules:
a) A screenshot will be accepted as evidence, provided it is sent within 5 days.
b) A screenshot send in a link or put on the forum will not be accepted. It must always be mailed as an attachment.
c) A file changed by (image) tools will be rejected.
c) A screenshot without Martial Heroes’ date and time will be rejected.
Without an original attached screenshot, no help should be expected from us.

Making false reports about someone or falsely reporting a stolen account are punishable and can lead eventually to a permanent ban. Missing items or characters from a shared account or any account where the user has willingly shared their details with any other person will NOT be seen as a stolen account problem, see the rules under “5. Account Management Policy”.

If a player account is blocked permanently, the player will not be able to use anything, such as the website, forum and his/her game account. All possessions and characters in the game will be forfeited. You can recognize the ban in game easily, after loging in the game will close and tell you “The service is restricted”. If you’re not sure why you’re banned find the reason here.
